I am selling my 1981 Porsche 924 Turbo. Odometer reads 71,510 miles (but odometer has worked intermittently over past few years). I have owned the car since 1989 and drove it regularly as a weekend car until about 2011. Due to lack of time, I have had it parked under a car cover for the past few years and it doesn't start at this time. Car will require restoration and mechanical work to get running again as it has sat. Interior has rips in drivers seat from use and there are cracks in the dash. Car has original paint which looks good in the photos but up close, it is wearing and could use a repaint. Included in sale is original window sticker (in picture above but it is faint due to age) as well as workshop manual and original car manual and Haynes/Chilton manuals). When running, this was an extremely fun car to drive with a nice kick from the turbocharger at about 3k RPM that really made it feel fast. Once again, it is not running at this time and I have not started it in the last few years so it will require work to get going again. No warranty is expressed or implied as to the function of this car. I added phone dial wheels (seen in pictures) in 2005. Original wheels are included as well (see picture of hub). Will only accept paypal for payment. Seller is responsible to pickup up of vehicle (will need to be taken on a flatbed) or arrange for shipping. Pictures of the car are current (taken on 6/3/2016) Good luck bidding. |

Mon, 08 Feb 2010Porsche will show off the new supersized, beefcake 911 Turbo S at the 2010 Geneva motor show. It’s the 911 Turbo aimed at that greedy niche who think the standard car isn’t fast enough. Which presumably consists of one Herr Rohrl.
