This sale if for a full set of Porsche 944 shop manuals, to include the 944, 944S, 944S2, S2 Cabriolet, 944 turbo and 944 turbo S.  The volumes cover every aspect of the 944 line.  Every bolt and every system on the car, to include chassis, heating, A/C, body, engine overhaul, transmission, even electrical circuit diagrams, are addressed in these manuals.  Minor repairs, rear hatch repairs, sunroof repairs, dash replacement, suspension repair, head work,.. it's all covered in complete detail, with photographs.  These are the manuals Porsche technicians use, and are highly coveted.  Years covered are all 944 models, from 1982 - 1991.  This set still has the original cardboard box, as it arrived from Germany.  The 944 turbo supplement is normally purchased separately, but I've included it in this sale.  These manuals were only very lightly used, and have very minimal wear.  My definition of like new is just that, and this set appears, like new.  Pages are white and crisp, with no grease or stains.  There are only a few pages that had some corners folded or some light pencil marking in the turbo supplement, but the overall condition of this set is mint to near mint.  When ordered from Germany, these volumes take many months to arrive.  I ordered this set through Porsche and waited for over a year.  This set was ordered for my 944 turbo, but were hardly ever used, due to the decision to pay a professional for a complete engine overhaul.

The ‘Green’ evangelists want to get us all driving electric cars to save the planet, but in the real world car drivers want a car that offers them all the practicality of a normal ICE car, but without the penalties of the poor range, high cost and inconvenience of an EV. So, with ever-rising fuel costs, it’s no wonder car buyers are willing to pay a little more for a car that offers better economy at the pumps – which plays straight in to the hands of Hybrid pioneers Toyota. The result is that Toyota and Lexus now see a full 20 per cent of their sale in Europe being hybrid cars in the first quarter of 2013, with sales of hybrid cars up a massive 82 per cent year-on-year.

Bridgestone winners take on texting, drinking and speeding

The grand-prize winners of this year's Bridgestone Safety Scholars Contest covered a variety of angles relating to driver safety in their video submissions.
