Porsche Heater Control Valve, new in the package.  944/Turbo/S/S2, all 944 Series II cars, not 924S.

FREE SHIPPING

You are bidding on one new-in-the-bag Porsche Heater Control Valve, vacuum operated.  There are two types of heater control valves.  The early 924, 83-85.5 944 and the 924S all use the cable controlled heater valve mounted next to the firewall in back of the engine (hard to get to!)  The later cars (Series II) use the valve that is controlled by vacuum - this is the later model controlled by vacuum.  Check the photos for compatibility before bidding!  I have two available, but the auction is for ONE VALVE.

Okay - a long time ago I ordered the wrong one...or two...and it is time to thin out the parts bin!!

Thanks!

2015 Ford Mustang spied wearing a funny hat

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

In an attempt to hide its secrecy while on Detroit's roadways, Ford has opted to give its Mustang some, uh, unusual camouflage. Is that a two-seater sports car, or a Morris Oxford? Is the Stay-Puft Man going out for a drive?

2012 Mercedes A-Class revealed in patent filings

Wed, 11 May 2011

The slightly drab 2012 Mercedes A-Class Car makers must hate filing for patents on new cars, because it means trusting images of their new and secret car to a third party. Basic images, admittedly, but the real-deal nonetheless. So Mercedes must be spitting feathers today as the images they sent with their patent applications on the 2012 A-Class leak out of every open window, door and PC and straight on to the interweb.

Porsche 911 Targa revealed at 2014 Detroit Motor Show

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Porsche has revealed an amazing retro-inspired new 911 Targa at the Detroit Motor Show – an open-top model that boasts a ‘wide bar’ look almost identical to the Targa style that went out of production two decades ago. First introduced back in the 1960s, Porsche’s return to the original Targa style has been combined with modern electrically-opening roof technology… and with models arriving in showrooms from this May, it’ll be an on-road retro reality before you know it.
