Up for auction is a TiAl Sport 38mm Duel Port Wastegate with adapter plates specifically for a Porsche 944 Turbo. Made in the USA. The adapter plates will fit crossover pipes equipped with a square flange where the wastegate mounts to the crossover pipe. The adapter plates allow for a direct replacement of the factory wastegate without any modifications needed, just bolt up and go. The duel port feature allows for better control of the boost level by allowing you to air assist the spring side of the diaphram. The adapter plates are easily removed if you are looking to use the wastegate for another application. I personally sent the wastegate to TiAl for an evaluation and I was told that the wastegate passes all their tests and is considered a good working wastegate. All sales are final, sold as is. We got the reveal of the Lexus LF-NX Concept – a mid-sized SUV/Crossover, designed to slot in below the Lexus RX – at the Frankfurt Motor Show last September, and it turned up again in November at the Tokyo Motor Show. Two showings in as many months made it all but certain the LF-NX was heading for production, and the accidental reveal of what looks like a production version of the LF-NX at the Society of Automotive Analysts Conference ahead of the Detroit Auto Show during a speech by Toyota’s Jim Lentz seems to confirm the LF-NX’s imminent arrival.

Spyker Cars to change name, shift focus
Mon, 23 May 2011Spyker Cars is changing its name to Swedish Automobile N.V., and its new Chinese partner, Pang Da, is waiting for authorities to approve the investment in Spyker and Saab. Known for more than a decade as a producer of exclusive muscle cars, Spyker sold off its sports-car business in February to focus on Saab. The company bought the Swedish automaker a year ago when General Motors was on the verge of shutting Saab down.
