Condition:New Brand:Evolution Motorsports Manufacturer Part Number:EBHK996TTRED

Our direct replacement silicone boost hose kit will eliminate a common boost problem on the 996TT's. On most all 996TT's the OEM boost hoses will leak and even blow out under acceleration leaving you with a loss in power and even stranded with a car that will not run. The OEM hoses are made from a rubber material that will deteriorate with a mass produced stamped aluminum end. This aluminum end does not secure properly into the intercoolers or "Y"-Pipe causing boost leaks and boost hose blow outs. Our precisely machined billet ends are a perfect tolerance for the most secure fit. Our silicone is pressure tested to over 100 PSI which will not burst even under the most extreme conditions. REAL WORLD TESTED at over 30 PSI and 1000 HP! This silicone & billet hose kit for the 996TT / X50 / GT2 comes as a complete bolt on kit.

Thu, 14 Apr 2011

The American-made Thomas Flyer, driven by George Schuster, won the world's first around-the-globe race. It was 1908, and it was still hard for a man to get around the globe, let alone the fledgling automobile. But the Thomas Flyer made the 22,000-mile trip in 169 days.

2012 Mercedes S Class to spawn a convertible

Tue, 17 May 2011

The n2012 Mercedes S Class will lose its top It’s probably a sign of increasing decrepitude as it seems only five minutes since Mercedes launched the current S Class, but already we’re talking about the 2012 Mercedes S Class – and it’s only a year away. As has always been the case with a new S-Class we can look forward to a raft of new innovations when the new S Class launches late next year; clever stuff that will eventually filter down to the cars of lesser mortals as the technology matures and the cost falls. And that clever stuff will be packaged up in a big saloon car – the normal S-Class – an even bigger car – the LWB S-Class – and a huge two door coupe – the Mercedes CL, which is expected to be renamed the S-Class Coupe when the new S-Class launches.

Speed causes crashes? More accurate reporting would improve driver education and safety

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

I am a professional race-car driver with 30 years of experience, and I still drive for General Motors' Cadillac race team in the Pirelli World Challenge series. I also have 20 years of experience educating new drivers, parents and driver-education teachers regarding safer street driving. This apparent (to some people) contradiction of experience puts me in the position of being a bit of a sounding post.
