Porsche 996TT ( 911 996 Turbo ) 450HP X50 - Crate Engine PN: 996100970 3X
This is the essentially close to ALL NEW engine through Porsche's Factory Remanufacturing program. You can google the P/N and read all about it. Retail is $38K. Got a good deal and paid around $25K for it a few years back to have as a spare. Ended up never needing it and car has been sold. The engine is on a pallet has been sitting in a dry indoor storage warehouse for the past couple of years. I just unwrapped it just to take pictures today. This combo is complete with the HIGHER HP 996TT Engine from the X50 models with stronger internal parts. The bigger X50 turbos are included along with everything shown ready to drop in just like a brand spanking new engine with ALL accessories, wiring harness, injectors, coil packs, EVERYTHING! At this price, why even gamble with a used engine from a wrecked car with unknown mileage? Use this unit with confidence that it came from the Porsche Factory. I need the space so my loss is your gain! If you have any questions, please ask! |

Mon, 19 Aug 2013Toyota As we predicted last week, Toyota will unveil a 400hp Yaris Hybrid-R supermini concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show next month after dedicating its appearance at the German auto expo to "the presentation of hybrid technology". The Japanese firm has been at the forefront of hybrid technology in the modern era with its eco-focused Prius family hatchback, but has also brought petrol-electric propulsion systems to the fore in top line world motorsport with its TS030 Le Mans racer. On Bing: see pictures of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R Find out how much a used Toyota Yaris costs on Auto Trader Powered by Toyota’s 1.6-litre Global Racing Engine and supplemented by a pair of electric motors, the Yaris Hybrid-R actually uses similar technology to the firm’s hybrid Le Mans prototype, with kinetic energy recovered under breaking ‘stored’ in a super capacitor as electricity.
EU new car CO2 targets pushed back
Wed, 27 Nov 2013The European Union’s plans to cap new cars to 95g/km CO2 by 2020 has been delayed, after months of lobbying led by Germany. Instead, the 95g/km target will be introduced a year later in 2021, but with an additional amount of flexibility intended to make the transition easier – especially for luxury carmakers such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz, which generally build bigger, heavier vehicles. Stricter CO2 rules will save drivers cash Top 10 most economical cars The new compromise, agreed on Tuesday (26 November 2013) and set to be presented to EU diplomats on Friday (29 November 2013), changes the rules on ‘supercredits’ – which allow manufacturers claim extra credit for especially low emissions cars, such as all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Fri, 05 Mar 2010Three of the 12 E-Type Jags on offer from one seller on Ebay If you ask anyone what the most iconic car of the ’60s was most people - we guess – would suggest the Jaguar E-Type. It seems to epitomise all the was impressive about the decade and – despite now being 50 years old – it still stands up as a stylish and desirable car. Not only is the E-type stylish and iconic it’s having new life breathed back in to it by companies like Eagle, who build E-Types to order from restoration projects and to a standard that surpasses the way they ever came out of British Leyland (or whatever the name of the company was that built them at the time - there were several iterations of the BL Brand, unfortunately).
