Up for sale is a modified Porsche Boxster wire harness for use with VarioCam Plus engine swaps, the most common of which being the 3.6 swap, however this will work fine with 3.8 swaps, and, if so inclined, to use the 3.4 VarioCam Plus motor from the Cayman.

For 2003-2008 cars, this is plug and play, as you already have the 7.8 DME, so all that is required is a re-flash over to a 3.6 996 (or 3.6 or 3.8 997 for 05-08 cars) program.

For 2002 cars, you will need to update to a 7.8 DME, but the wiring changes are minimal.

While I listed this primarily for 2002-2008 cars, this can be done to 97-01 cars, however the wiring changes required to update to a 7.8 DME, as well as swapping over to E-GAS throttle, updating HVAC control, 02+ ABS controller and instrument cluster are significant.

You will need access to a PST2 or PIWIS and your car's DME and immobilizer codes (which you will have to obtain from the dealer) to reprogram your DME to work with your engine swap.

THE ORIGINAL Mini, first introduced in 1959, is the best-ever British car, according to a survey of Autocar readers.
