The FQ-440 MR is the most powerful Evo ever sold by Mitsubishi, thanks to a storming 440bhp output from its 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Mitsubishi claims this ultimate Evo X develops a maximum of 412lb ft at 3100rpm: 25lb ft more than the previous top-dog Evo X achieved.

Badged ‘Antarctica’ the car boasts extra standard kit plus some unique design features and is limited to 300 examples. Available from March and priced from £14,895 the special edition Panda is, unsurprisingly, being offered in white while the car’s stand-out details include a black roof, orange detailing and 15-inch alloy wheels.

Honda Small Sports EV Concept at Tokyo Home Motor Shows are car makers’ favourites, so with the Tokyo Motor Show just round the corner Honda has revealed plans for seven concepts at the show including a small electric roadster and a plug-in hybrid – the Honda AC-X. Honda’s display at the Tokyo Show is going to be the biggest of any car maker.
