Porsche Carrera Ducktail - Authentic , Tangerine, Grill Included, Rare! 73-74 on 2040-parts.com
Los Angeles, California, United States
Was taken off my 1973.5 Porsche 911T, Tangerine, color code 23, Grill included. The 911 Carrera was Porsche's highest performance car in 1974 and one of only a handful of 911's ever produced with the iconic ducktail spoiler. Over the years, this one-year-only ducktail, with small differences from the earlier 1973 version, has earned a reputation as almost impossible to find owing to its low production, desirability, and relative fragility. If you're in the market for one of these rare parts, this is the one you've been waiting for. Specially if you car is Tangerine color. I am located in hollywood hills, local pic up preferred, Any questions please feel free to call me 310-866-0084. Will ship anywhere at buyers expense, thanks. |

Think, again: Norwegian electric-car maker looks for U.S. plant
Thu, 12 Mar 2009Think, the Norwegian electric-car maker, says it plans to build an assembly plant and a technical center in the United States. After financing failed in the wake of the collapse of credit markets in late 2008, the company entered Norway's debt-settlement process (the equivalent of Chapter 11 bankruptcy), and production of its recently redesigned Think city car was halted. It continues operating under a $6 million interim funding measure while it pursues additional financing.
Michelin Challenge Design 2009
Tue, 20 Jan 2009As the 2009 Michelin Challenge Design - focusing on the search for ‘America's Next Iconic Vehicle' - drew to a close at the NAIAS in Detroit, culminating in a press preview and an exhibition of scale models, the theme for next year's competition was announced: ‘Electrifying! Beautiful, Innovative and Radiant'. While it may sound like a slogan for a new line of women's cosmetics, this theme does in fact center on the increasingly relevant field of electric vehicle (EV) design; or more specifically the need to combine sustainable powertrains with attractive, well executed design.
