Porsche Museum hosts Colección Goméz

The Porsche Design Museum is opening a new special exhibition today, September 20th. Called the ‘Colección Goméz' the museum will display 24 works of art created by 19 South American artists who have used Porsche 911 GT2 hoods pressed into service as a ‘canvass'. The new exhibition is the brainchild of Jorge Gómez, both an art lover and big fan of the Porsche brand.

Jaguar to hand-build build six new 'Lightweight' E-Types

JAGUAR is bringing history to life with an incredible mission to build six ‘Lightweight’ E-Types from scratch – by hand. The firm’s ‘finest craftsmen’ will hand-build each of the ultra-rare E-Type racers to the exact specification dictated on the original plans, including the 3.8-litre straight-six petrol engine. The cars were originally destined to be built in the 1960s as part of a run of 18, but only 12 were ever made.

The 2013 / 2014 facelift for the Porsche Panamera has been revealed, together with a new Panamera S E-Hybrid with 410bhp. As well as the new E-Hybrid (for which Porsche are actually claiming 91mpg), there will also be a new long wheelbase Panamera ‘Executive’ model with 15cm extra in the wheelbase.
