BOTH OF THESE BANKS ARE FROM A 1972 911T 2.4 LITER ENGINE, YOU ARE LOOKING AT A TOTAL OF 6 REBUILT CYLINDER HEADS WITH TWO "T" CAMSHAFTS, TWO CAM TOWERS, ALL TWELVE ROCKERS AND SHAFTS. THE VALVE JOB HAS BEEN DONE WITH ALL NEW VALVE GUIDES,  STEM SEALS AND A THREE ANGLE VALVE SEAT CUT WITH CUT VALVES TO MATCH. STEM HEIGHT HAS BEEN SET TO SPECS. . CAMS HAVE ALL GOOD LOBES AND ALL TWELVE ROCKERS ARE PRETTY FLAWLESS. CAM TOWERS ARE TORQUED DOWN TO SPEC ON MY JIG AND BOTH SIDES ARE READY TO DROP IN PLACE. I HAVE DONE THIS JOB HUNDREDS OF TIMES AND IF I WERE SELLING THESE AT A RETAIL PRICE, I WOULD PUT MY NORMAL WARRANTY ON MY WORK BUT I AM ONLY GETTING MY MONEY BACK ON A JOB WHICH WAS NEVER PAID FOR SO HERE WE ARE. Lamborghini today showed the world their new at the LA show - now take a deep breath - Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante. And you thought Japanese brands loved a multi-faceted verbose car name. In simple terms the Performante is the Spyder version of the Superleggara. It's been on the same religiously slim-fast diet, adopting lots of carbonfibre (inside and out), swapping the standard car's leather for lightweight Alcantara, and receiving lightweight wheels.

Spyker is readying a new endurance racer, the C8 Aileron GT. and it's unveiled the car on the eve of the 2011 Geneva motor show. It's more good news for the fans of the obscure Dutch brand: last week the company that builds the cars in the UK bought the brand from holding company Spyker Cars N.V, there's a waiting list that stretches into early 2012, and now Spyker is committing to endurance racing for the next few years.  Based on Spyker’s new flagship C8 Aileron, the new GT racer is being designed and developed to meet the GTE regulations set by the ACO, the governing body of the Le Mans 24hrs.

Mazda to recall more than 500,000 vehicles

Mazda plans to recall about 514,000 vehicles to repair power-steering systems that fail suddenly. The recall will affect the Mazda 3 and the Mazda 5 manufactured in Japan from 2007 to 2008, according to a report in Reuters. Currently, Mazda has filed recalls for 215,000 vehicles in the United States and more than 10,000 in China.
