The shifter couplers joints are prone to wear out with normal use. Symptoms of worn couplings can include excessive slop or free play in nuetral or all gear positions. The shifter can be difficult to engage in one or all gears or sometimes pop out of a gear. So, unless there's something internally wrong with your transmission this repair will greatly improve the shift control of your Porsche.

Many other eBay sellers are listing the aftermarket versions at lower costs. Just be aware that some aftermarket parts are made with materials that may not meet OEM specifications. This is a genuine Porsche coupler assembly so you will get the quality and assurance of proper fit.

Contrary to what a technician will tell you this is an easy remove and replace repair that a "do-it-yourselfer" can accomplish in about 45-60 minutes with simple hand tools.

All products carry the manufactures warranty. Contact the product manufacturer if warranty service is needed.Warranty isvalid only on parts installed by qualified personnel and in the application for which they are intended. Parts that are improperly installed, used for testing, altered, abused, or subjected to arduous use may be excluded from warranty coverage.

Returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days of the sales date. The receipt/invoice must accompany all returns.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges on items that are returned in unsatisfactory condition.

We charge 15% restocking fee for item returned. (This covers eBay, PayPal and/or Credit card costs.) Shipping charges are non-refundable unless it is due to a defect or our error. If an item is flawed or defective, a replacement will be shipped as soon as it is returned to us. If you do not wish receive a replacement, you must return the item for a refund.

The returned  product must be in resalable condition. The item is returned to us within14 days of the sales date. It is the buyers responsibility to inspect each item upon receipt, even if they do not intend to use it for some time. The return postage is the buyers responsibility.
