Newly manufactured production of the original standard horn grills fitted to the 1969 to 1972 LWB 911 and 912. Manufactured (die cast) from zinc metal alloy just like the original, using NOS parts as the template for exact fit. We chromed them in a custom chrome shop in Seattle, Washington USA using a 4 layer process much better than original, and not chromed in China like the others. These are not the same as any horn grill offered by other shops. I had these made as the other offerings simply don't fit! Left side offered here, please see our other auctions for the Right side. VW Scirocco and Passat CC (2011): low CO2 tech
Tue, 23 Nov 2010Volkswagen has launched the cleanest and most efficient Scirocco yet. Bluemotion tech is now fitted to the base 2.0-litre turbodiesel and includes stop/start and battery regeneration systems to cut CO2 beneath 120g/km. The six-speed manual Scirocco 138bhp 2.0 TDI now averages 62.8mpg (down from 55.4mpg) while emissions have tumbled to an impressive 118g/km (down from 134g/km).
Warning for 'morning after' drivers
Tue, 10 Dec 2013MOTORIST DON'T KNOW when it is safe to drive the morning after drinking, according to an AA/Populus survey. As many as 56% of the 21,165 surveyed were unaware of the "morning-after" dangers, with those from north east and north west the biggest culprits, the poll found. In the survey, drivers were asked that if they started drinking at 9pm and drank a total of 12 units of alcohol over three hours when they thought they would legally be allowed to drive again.
