Top Gear Tonight: Ferrari F12, BAC Mono, Ron Howard & the world’s best taxi

Jeremy Clarkson gets to play with the stunning Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, which with 731bhp, 0-62mph of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph should induce more than a grin or two from Jezza as he takes to the roads of Scotland.

This in-your-face hunk of high-speed SUV is Brabus’ B63S–700 Widestar, the latest super-powerful conversion from the German Mercedes-Benz tuners. This time the aftermarket fettler has turned its attention to Merc’s already rather powerful ML63 AMG off-roader, adding some fairly garish visual modifications and performing some even crazier tweaks underneath the bonnet ahead of the car’s debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show next month. Brabus kit improves diesel Mercedes power

German tuner Brabus does most of its work with big-displacement, big-power engines, mostly for Mercedes-Benz (though Smart products get the Brabus treatment from time to time as well). On Monday, it proved that it can do the same with the company’s oil burners. It’ll also sell you a Mercedes diesel with Brabus upgrades already installed.
