Up for sale is a used IBM T30 with a newer battery, maxed out Ram, OE charger. Also includes a KTS 520 just refurbished with a new PCB from Bosch Germany with a 1 year warranty. Porsche specific DLC cable, round 19 pin cable for older models, an OBD2 cable and a power supply for the KTS 520. To my knowledge it will communicate with all models up to and including M.Y. 2009. This is a HDD loaded with V28 Piwis software not VMware.

BASF launches car seat design competition

BASF has launched 'Sit down. Move.', the first global car seat design competition. The contest asks for designers to submit their ideas for a car concept car seat using BASF materials and will be judged by three renowned industrial and automotive designers: Dave Lyon, former-Executive Director of Interior Design America for GM, industrial designer Konstantin Grcic and former Pininfarina designer Ken Okuyama along with BASF representatives.

James Hope has been appointed Corporate Director of Design at Chery Motors, the Chinese state-owned carmaker. He joins Chery from General Motors, where he held the position of Assistant Chief Designer since February 2008. Hope took up his new position on 16 January, based in Chery's Shanghai satellite studio from where he will report directly to Chen Anning, Chery's Head of Product Development.

A quick-handed photographer over at GTSpirit.com was able to grab the first image of the new 2013 Ferrari F620 GT. The car will be shown on March 6 at the Geneva motor show in Switzerland. Specs from eGarage.com cite the 6.3-liter V12 at 740 hp and 690 lb-ft of torque, with an 8,700-rpm redline.
