Original factory Porsche steering wheel. The numbers stamped on the wheel are 874 B   and 4  67. This came out of my friends car before selling it in the early 1980's. He remembers the car as a 67 , 911. This wheel can be used as it but for the purist it will need a full restoration. The sides of the rim are cracked/checking on the surface from years in the sun. Please see the photos. The structual integrity of the wheel is fine. A wood furniture builder could easily restore the wheel. As you know these wheels are getting rare and many are unwilling to part with them. This wheel will greatly add to the driving experience and value of your vintage porsche.

BMW tii models are go

Wed, 02 Apr 2008

By Georg Kacher Motor Industry 02 April 2008 17:06 BMW chief Norbert Reithofer has confirmed to CAR Online that a range of tii performance options will be launched soon on the company's smaller models. He has finally ruled out a rumoured M1 version of the 1-series and said the tii spec would be the most performance-oriented model, claiming the the twin-turbo 135i was quite fast enough (it does 0-62mph in 5.3sec, after all). The tii concept shown at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show points accurately to the approach BMW is developing: performance kits for the 1-series coupe and hatchback, an aero package, carbonfibre details, fatter wheels and tyres, sports seats and instruments. There's even talk of a new M-style steering wheel with integrated LED rev counter.A tii for the massesBMW is the past master at offering huge choice in spec and trim; subtle nuance of alloy wheel size here, and Sport spec there is the stuff of workplace car park folklore.

Toyota teases Muppets Super Bowl spot

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

Former NFL player and current "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" actor Terry Crews will appear in Toyota's Highlander-focused Super Bowl ad. The automaker released a teaser spot today, referencing the Coen Brothers and featuring the Muppets' famed dilapidated bus, a fanciful tour vehicle in the vein of Ken Kesey's Furthur or the Partridge Family's Mondrian-esque Chevy. (RIP, Dave Madden.) It's safe to assume that some manner of madcap mayhem will ensue upon the arrival of the rest of the Muppet crew, but for now, all we get is a shot of pianist Rowlf buckling himself in sans invitation.

Wed, 28 Mar 2007

By Jack Carfrae First Official Pictures 28 March 2007 07:06 Infiniti EX Concept: the lowdown Infiniti is Nissan’s answer to Lexus, a wannabe aspirational and luxurious brand aimed squarely at Audi, Mercedes and BMW's home turf. Nissan has enjoyed a reasonable success with Infiniti in the US, and they're coming to Europe next year. The new EX, shown today for the first time in concept form, is to be unveiled at the New York Motor Show in April - and it will spearhead the launch in Europe in 2008.
