Powder Coated Honda Civic D16z6 Valve Cover Vtec on 2040-parts.com
Stockholm, New Jersey, United States
********PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING*********
Up for auction is a powder coating SERVICE on a valve cover from a d16z6 engine with vtec lettering. Please confirm fitment with your own engine before bidding. The valve cover will be powder coated a color of your choice that I stock. Other colors can be ordered for a small fee. Please remember this is a SERVICE with core exchange option. If you can not send me yours to coat, you HAVE TO pay the REFUNDABLE core deposit. All products powder coated by us are hot tanked to remove thick built up carbon and oil deposits normally found in valve covers. This is VERY important as it prevents blasting media from getting stuck behind baffles and eventually releasing in your engine. Next the original finish is stripped, the part is than cleaned again to remove excess grit and finally pretreated and coated to the color that you choose.
The refundable core deposit works like this: You pay an ADDITIONAL $60/$80 to the item total. I powder coat a valve cover that I have in stock and ship it to you. You install it and send me your stock valve cover back. I then refund that extra $60/$80 deposit. The only way that you can avoid the core deposit is if you send me YOUR valve cover to do the work on. The core must be free from ANY modification, cracks, relativly deep gashes, broken spark plug cover holes, broken tabs, broken off bolts, broken oil baffles etc. IT MUST ALSO BE THE SAME STYLE COVER THAT I SEND YOU. If you are unsure if your core is suitable, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND ASK FIRST. All cores MUST be returned within 2 weeks of delivery. DO NOT BID if you cannot abide by these rules.
Please click HERE for an up to date color chart of in stock colors. Other colors can be ordered for a small fee.
If you would like a clear top coat applied or are choosing a dormant color, there will be an additional $20 charge. The clear coat brings out a even glossier finish, helps protect, and is HIGHLY recommended. Clear coat MUST be purchased with ALL metallics and ALL dormants. There is also a $20 charge for all candy colors.
New Jersey residents must pay 7% sales tax on their orders. Typical shipping time is 3-10 BUSINESS days from the date of payment, but in most cases it will be only 3-4. Also, full payment MUST be received within 4 days of auction end or non paying bidder claim will be filed with ebay. Our company beleives in quality and we will do what we can to help.
