Complete Power Antenna System Ready to Install
Brand:Totally Rebuilt with NOS Mast Other Part Number:Excellent Original Switch Manufacturer Part Number:NEW Coaxial Cable Placement on Vehicle:Right, Rear Interchange Part Number:NEW Wiring Harness Surface Finish:Original Antenna

This is an ORIGINAL electric power antenna set-up for a Pontiac GTO or Lemans for the years 1964 1965 1966 1967 1968 or 1969. This particular antenna came out of a 1966 GTO. If you are going to put it into a 64 or 65 GTO, you would have to change the top threaded piece in order to use the factory correct chrome adapter and chrome nut.  If you are putting it into a 66 - 69 GTO, then just add your washer, chrome adapter bezel & nut and you are done.  The chrome mast is NOS and is straight, shiny and beautiful.  The outer casing galvanized tube is NOS.  The motor has been completely rebuilt and works strong and fast in both directions. The date code stamped into the metal domed cover reads 8-12-6 AAXA.  The antenna also comes with a new coaxial cable, new blue & green wire harness, new black  ground wire and the lower stud with nut as shown in the photos. The top flange is not original but has been fabricated to function properly like the original.

When the antenna is in the full down position, the mast sticks out of the quarter panel only 3/4 of an inch which allows you to put a car cover on without tearing a hole in it.

This system is totally complete and ready to install and go.  The original switch is very nice with a perfect harness.  I believe that it is the same switch used in the 1964 and 1965 GTO also.

The system was tested multiple times and functions perfectly.

Dubbed Concept-cX, this, show car points to Mitsubishi's possible future compact crossover in the mould of the Nissan Qashqai.
