Available for immediate purchase is this pair of used original steel valve covers from a 1970’s vintage 460 FoMoCo engine, stamped with “Power by Ford.”

Both covers are solid with no rot through or twists and have straight mounting flanges.  One shows a small dent at one end as shown in photos.  Faces show some surface pitting.

They were stripped clean, primed and finished with correct early-Ford blue engine paint for a clean look under the hood!  Bare insides are being preserved with WD-40.

You may enter your zip code or country into the shipping calculator to find postage costs when bidding and email any questions.

Please email any questions and check out my other auctions for other factory instruction manuals, brochures, FoMoCo parts and more vintage stuff.  Also be sure to add breakfast_bob to your favorites list, checking back often for rare and interesting parts being listed continuously!

I try to research everything that I list for accuracy, but I am not all-knowing and make mistakes, as do my resources – I ask that you understand what it is you’re looking at before bidding.

Remarkably, that reputation has been built whilst excluding from it sales market the biggest market for hypercars of all – the United States. But that’s about to change.

Sat, 14 Nov 2009

From behind the wheel, the production version of the Nissan Leaf electric car is smooth, silent, feels nearly friction free and offers all the prodigious torque inherent in an electric car. That's what we found after a short drive around Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday. The body you see in the photo is a Versa.
