Here is an original factory 4-way power bucket seat track.   This one came out of a 1963 Buick Riviera and should also fit 1964 and 1965 Riviera.  The date code on the motor is 8 - 62. Everything was totally disassembled and meticulously rebuilt including the motor, and transmission solenoid. The wiring was inspected and re taped. New nylon glide bushings were put in the slider tracks too.  All metal parts were stripped, polished and acid treated to prevent rusting.  This track was in great condition before the rebuild and now it is outstanding. This unit comes with the long wiring harness and switch that goes into the drivers door.  Also notice that the very rare and often missing red plastic side trim pieces are included with the seat track. The mounting feet on the slave side rail have been beefed up with new metal welded on since they were partially rusted out.

It was repeatedly tested and works perfectly in all four directions.  No disappointments here.

Make sure this seat will fit your car before you bid.  Ask questions if you are not sure.  I also have another long wiring harness and chrome armrest bezel in another auction if you need that as well.  I even have another complete power seat track if you would like one for the passenger side.  I can do the conversion for you so that it will be a direct bolt in with no modification.

Do you have a broken or non working core seat track available???  Call me before you hit the button. 352-688-8199

Central Academy of Fine Arts degree show 2009, China

Tue, 09 Jun 2009

China's home grown car makers are increasingly ambitious, as illustrated by plans to grow rapidly at home and, in some cases, expand abroad and compete with foreign rivals in cutting-edge technologies. One big impediment they face in taking on their foreign rivals is design. Top dogs in the global auto industry invest heavily in engineers and designers.

First Sight: Audi A3 Interior Revealed at CES [w/video]

Thu, 12 Jan 2012

It says a lot about where the automotive industry is today that Audi chose to unveil the new A3 interior here in CES, rather than a few days earlier at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. In the process the firm also inadvertently unveiled the exterior design of the next generation of the 3-door hatch through the high quality renderings used in the menus of the new MMI system. The new MMI system comes with an enlarged, raised center clickwheel that is topped by a touchpad.

Car crash revealed as parents’ biggest fear

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

Parents of youngsters aged 16-25 are more worried about them being in a car crash than anything else – above becoming drug addicts or being unable to find a job. A poll by the Association of British Insurers (ABI) found that 62% of parents were worried about their kids being involved in a car accident. Less than a third, however, were worried about them taking illegal drugs or taking up smoking.
