Here is a complete Original  Driver Side Power Vent Window Motor for GM cars of the years 1965 1966 1967 and 1968 such as Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Pontiac. The motor was completely rebuilt and has steel teeth in the top gear that should never wear out again.  The case was stripped to bear metal and then a coat of phosphoric acid was applied to prevent rusting.  Also included are the mounting screws as shown in the photos. The date code on the motor is 1-68 and the part number is 4490687. The motor has been repeatedly tested and works perfectly.  It is  ready to bolt in and go. No disappointments here!

It should fit any GM car, or possibly other cars that have front vent windows, from the years 1965 1966 1967 or 1968.  Ask questions and do your homework to see if it is correct for your car.

Honda has glued a few glitzy bits to the latest Civic in recognition of its British Touring Car Championship participation, to create the new Civic Ti. The 5-door ‘race-inspired’ Civic is based on the 1.8 SE model, but comes with colour-coded wheel arches and some 17-inch ‘Le Mans’ alloy wheels. If that’s not enough to send you running down to the dealership, then Honda hopes the addition of a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearstick might.

VW BlueSport Concept moves nearer to reality

We reported last week on the VW BlueSport Concept, a relatively economical 2 seat roadster, which VW unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show. We said then that if we were VW we’d be pressing the start button as soon as possible, and reports seem to indicate that that is exactly what VW are hoping to do. The secret to the success of the BlueSport will be the ability of the VW Group as a whole to find three platforms within its setup that can produce viable models based on the BlueSport Concept.
