Former Audi U.S. boss lands at Infiniti

The former chief of Audi of America has been given the keys to Japanese luxury brand Infiniti. Johan de Nysschen, 52, has been named a senior vice president of Nissan Motor Co. and will be responsible for its upscale division.

You’ve got to feel for Scandinavian car makers Saab and Volvo. Both swallowed up by big US car makers, and both now being abandoned in a vulnerable position after years of integrating their once independent products in to their parents infrastructure, they must wake up every day wondering if this is the day it all goes bang. McLaren P1: Paris 2012

The McLaren P1 – spiritual successor to the iconic McLaren F1 – has been publicly revealed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Still, we do have more details on the P1 concept that McLaren say will turn in to a production car in 2013 before it finds its way in to the garages of wealthy McLaren customers in 2014.
