GM and Chrysler in merger talks

Reports in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal say the talks have been underway since the start of October 2008, and sources close to the possible deal put its chances of success at ’50-50’. All three US car makers have seen their sales decimated in recent months and have been forced to deny that they might seek bankruptcy protection.
Who's Where: Robin Page joins Volvo Cars as interior design director

He will report directly to Thomas Ingenlath, Volvo's vice president of Design. 41-year-old Page, formerly head of interior design at Bentley since 2001, was responsible for the Continental and Mulsanne ranges' interiors and also designed the interior of Queen Elizabeth II's State Limousine. He previously undertook an apprenticeship with Jaguar and has also worked for Rolls-Royce and Bugatti.
2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG may pack 480 hp

The BMW M3-fighting four-door is will debut at the Paris motor show in September. The new twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8-powered performance sedan is set for North American sale exclusively in its rear-wheel-drive-only guise.
