60mph speed limit plans axed in favour of smart motorways
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Government plans announced early this year to reduce air pollution caused by vehicle emissions by reducing the speed limit on a 32-mile stretch of the M1 have been shelved. The proposals involved lowering the speed limit from 70mph to 60mph, from junction 28 of the M1, near Matlock in Derbyshire, to junction 35a, north of Rotherham. Vauxhall Vectra renamed as Insignia
Mon, 03 Dec 2007By Motor Industry 03 December 2007 09:46 Vauxhall has renamed its Vectra replacement, and like we all thought, it's going to be called Insignia. According to Vauxhall the Insignia name represents 'a new name for a new era', and we'll see if Vauxhall is telling the truth when the covers come off the new car at the British Motor Show in July 2008. It's a big claim for Vauxhall, but the teaser shot (above right) shows that at least Vauxhall seems to have gotten the design of the Insignia right.
Honda updates NSX concept for 2013

Just unveiled at the 2013 Detroit motor show, the concept's exterior styling has been updated (we first saw the NSX show car at the 2012 Detroit show) and Honda has now revealed a potential interior design for its new supercar too. Is this the production-spec Honda NSX interior?
