Revolutionary seat design offers new possibilities

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

Lufthansa has introduced an innovative business class seat, the result of five years of development by design agency PearsonLloyd. PearsonLloyd has decided to move away from the conventional technique of placing seats in different directions to allow reclining and has opted to arrange the seats in a ‘V' formation. Top international design talent to descend on Czech Republic for AutoDesign Prague 2013

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

The automotive design industry will head to Prague on 26 September to speak at the AutoDesign Prague 2013 conference at the National Technical Library. Now entering its third year, the one-day conference – organized by AutoDesign and Styling magazine – will be followed by a workshop the next day, which will focus on techniques including sketching and clay and 3D modeling. The speakers and presentation topics haven't been announced yet but last year's conference featured speakers such as Dassault Systèmes' vice president Design Experience Anne Asensio, while the 2011 edition saw presentations by speakers including Fabio Filippini, Pininfarina's vice president design and chief creative officer, and Peter Horbury, then-vice president of design at Volvo.

Sun, 09 Nov 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 09 November 2008 12:36 These are the first pictures of the new Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M, essentially a drop-top version of the sublime 430 Scuderia. Unveiled this past weekend at Ferrari’s World Finals end-of-season gig at Mugello, just 499 Scuderia Spider 16Ms will be built, each costing over £180,000. Ferrari says its latest model has been built to celebrate the Prancing Horse’s 16th F1 Constructor’s title, hence the ‘16M’.
