    BAC Mono moves to Liverpool

    Wed, 10 Jul 2013

The BAC Mono with brothers Brigg & Mayor of Liverpool (pictured) The BAC Mono is in the public eye this week after its impressive performance on Top Gear, but even without the publicity from Top Gear the brothers Brigg were already doing very well with the Mono. So well, they’ve been looking for new premises to continue their growth and have settled on a move from Cheshire to Liverpool (just up the road) and a new facility on the Speke Hall Industrial Estate in South Liverpool is set to become the new home of the Mono. BAC’s new home in Speke will be up and running by the autumn, will create an additional 60 jobs in the local economy – and more in the supply chain – and is expected to turn out more than 100 Monos a year by 2015.

    2011 Mercedes C Class Facelift revealed +video

    Thu, 23 Dec 2010

The 2011-2012 Mercedes C Class When we recently reviewed the Mercedes C Class – in relatively lowly C180 CGI guise – we had to conclude that Mercedes’ baby has come a long way. For theĀ firstĀ time it really can be judged as small S Class and as a worthy competitor to the BMW 3 Series. Which means the 2011 Mercedes C Class facelift can only add more appeal to a car that is very close to being the most desirable in its sector.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S arrives – the quickest production Aston ever (video)

    Wed, 29 May 2013

The new, more powerful, Aston Martin V12 Vantage S arrives Aston Martin has been teasing something ‘Coming soon’ for a few days, and here it is – the new V12 Vantage S. The new S replaces the V12 Vantage (which we knew Aston Martin had stopped building) and gets Aston’s latest AM28 version of the venerable V12 with 565bhp and 457lb/ft of torque thanks to new engine management, combustion chambers and camshafts resulting in more power and a much flatter torque curve. The extra power has pushed the V12 S beyond the 200nph barrier, with the top speed now 205mph and, we assume, a quicker sprint to 62mph, but Aston Martin aren’t letting on how much quicker the V12 S is.
