Audi Q5 due next year: Autoweek Magazine
Mon, 02 Feb 2009Audi will offer a hybrid version of its Q5 premium SUV in the US starting in late 2010, says Wolfgang Hatz, head of powertrain development for the Volkswagen group. In an interview at the auto show here last month, Hatz said Audi must offer a hybrid model to compete with rival vehicles that already offer the technology, such as the Lexus RX 400h.
MG Icon concept
Wed, 18 Apr 2012The MG Icon concept will be unveiled at the Beijing motor show next week in order to test public reaction to a small crossover, as well as suggesting a new design direction for the brand. Similar in size to the Nissan Juke, the Icon – as its name suggests – plays on MG's back catalogue of classic cars, something the company hasn't done since its takeover by Nanjing and subsequently SAIC in 2005. Despite clearly different proportions the Icon pays homage to the MGB GT sports coupe via its lamp and grille graphics, bumper overriders and fastback tailgate.
Rolls Royce EX200 (RR4 / Ghost) breaks cover early
Thu, 19 Feb 2009The Rolls Royce EX200 Concept unveiled ahead of its Geneva debut [ad#ad-1] Well, this was supposed to be embargoed until tomorrow, but if the Daily Telegraph are prepared to jump the gun, I suppose we may as well jump on their coach and run it as well! After more spy shots of the Rolls Royce RR4 than I care to remember, and teaser images and trickles of details, we finally have some concrete information, and some images, to put meat on the bones of the new Baby Rolls Royce. But apparently we shouldn’t call it the ‘Baby’ RR, as Rolls Royce insists that the new car, which will be almost exactly the same as this concept, will be built to the same exacting standards as the flagship Phantom.
