Powertrax 9204352706 Powertrax No-Slip Traction System Differential Powertrax No-Slip Traction System Powertrax No-Slip Traction System; 7.565 in.; 27 Spline; For Open Differential; C-Clip; FEATURES:
The POWERTRAX LOCK-RIGHT Locker is the original locking differential that could be easily installed in existing case assemblies without any special tools or setup equipment. It has been widely used in demanding off-road applications around the world requiring extreme traction output and high-strength. Because the LOCK-RIGHT eliminates wheel spin-up and therefore its associated driveline trauma is negated, the strength and integrity of its surrounding original case and other driveline components are, in effect, substantially increased. Cases that occasionally fail with open or limited-slip/posi differentials become one of the strongest links in the drive train when equipped with the POWERTRAX LOCK-RIGHT LOCKER. The LOCK-RIGHT has been used in the harshest conditions around the world by hard-core off-roaders, in towing applications, and even United Nation vehicles in rugged terrain. | |

Pagani, Mercedes-AMG say V12s are separate
Thu, 18 Nov 2010Italian sports-car maker Pagani and Mercedes-AMG, the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz, on Thursday said that the engine for the future Pagani C9 supercar is not the same engine used in the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series roadster. The unusual announcement--automakers typically don't comment on future-product programs--refutes reports about the Pagani C9's engine. In January, Road and Track magazine reported that the V12 for the C9 was derived from the V12 in the SL65 Black Series.
University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2004
Sat, 13 Nov 2004Nov 13, 2004 - Final year undergraduate students from Britain's University of Huddersfield displayed their work at their annual degree show exhibition in Huddersfield, and also at the New Designers exhibition held in July at the Business Design Centre in London. With 19 graduating students from the BA(Hons) Transport Design course, the range of design projects reflects the broad nature of the discipline; with projects ranging from automotive exteriors and interiors, motorcycles, bridges and urban transportation interfaces. All final year projects have a strong design research element where a student's detailed knowledge and understanding of future market, social and environmental trends validates the project and the core design concept.
Video: The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo concept build process
Thu, 20 Dec 2012Porsche has released a video featuring Style Director Michael Mauer charting the design process of the Panamera Sport Turismo concept. The 10-minute YouTube video, which also features General Manager Advanced Design Style Mitja Rorkert, follows the build process through each modeling phase right up until the presentation of the show car at this year's Paris motor show. "It always presents a special challenge when we develop a new kind of car for the Porsche brand," says Mauer, "precisely because we haven't been in the segment before, and the question of whether it matches the Porsche brand always looms in the background." We were impressed at the Panamera Sport Turismo concept's unveiling, particularly with its stance and detail execution, so the video is a chance to see just how this concept came into being.
