For vehicles that are driven daily, the Powertrax No-Slip Traction

System is the latest design in quiet traction-adding differential

technology. It combines the automatic street-friendly smooth

operation of a limited-slip differential with the traction performance

of a locking differential. The Powertrax No-Slip locker easily installs

in to your differential carrier using basic tools and without affecting

your ring and pinion settings. Powertrax Grip-Lock, Lock-Right

Lockers and No-Slip Traction Systems automatically provide 100%

traction on-demand, under the toughest circumstances. The

Powertrax Grip-Pro and Grip-LS performance limited slips offer

smooth dependable torque transfer and traction for the best of

both worlds!

POWERTRAX

The Powertrax No-Slip Lockers are a fully automatic mechanical locker that will provide traction to both rear tires no matter what traction surface the tires are on. They will automatically unlock when going around a corner to allow the outside tire to travel the further distance it needs to. They feature a synchro ring which makes for the a very smooth transition from locked to unlocked and vice versa. The Powertrax Lock Right models do not feature this synchro ring. Only found within the No-Slip line.

Concept Car of the Week: Mazda Ibuki (2003)

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

With the Ibuki, Mazda designers synthesized the most successful of the first generation MX-5's iconic elements and evolved their forms to make them even more memorable and simple. To do so, they used a strong geometric theme throughout the car inside and out: LED headlamps; front air intake; tail lamps; rear view mirrors; release handles and interior details down to the pedals – every shape follow the same oval theme. Zooming out, the silhouette – as well as the top view – is also oval, making the Ibuki look more like a toy than a car, which is a real bonus for a small roadster.

2015 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake roars ahead of Geneva motor show debut

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

International auto shows are mixed blessings. On the one hand, we love seeing what's going on in other markets; on the other, we hate being tempted by cars that will never, ever make it stateside. In Tokyo, it's tiny, toylike econoboxes.
