Lexus RX450h hybrid - 2012's facelift goes on sale

Lexus has refreshed its RX premium off-roader with a slew of new gadgets, a facelifted snout, a few small engineering upgrades and extra equipment. Sold in the UK only as the RX450h hybrid, you'll spot the new 2012 edition by the addition of the Lexus 'spindle' grille, as seen on recent concept cars such as the LF-LC from Detroit 2012. Scuola Politecnica di Design Milan 2008

The Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy, held the annual exhibition of its Master's course in Transportation Design this past June. Done in collaboration with Alfa Romeo, this year's final presentation was attended by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Head of Styling for Fiat Group Automobiles and Maserati. The final thesis projects presented by the 15 students on the course answered a brief to design the next flagship sedan from Alfa Romeo.

Buick is launching a connectivity feature on its 2012 models as the brand looks to attract younger and tech-savvy customers--and to shed its sometime stodgy image. Called IntelliLink, the connectivity technology arrives as standard equipment on the 2012 Verano sedan, before being added to the Regal and the LaCrosse. The Enclave SUV gets it in 2013.
