351 Windsor Billet Steel Main Cap Girdle:
Convert your main caps into the strength of a one piece system! This is a very straightforward kit; by using this girdle you tie all your main caps together, giving you the strength and reliability you demand!
Our girdles are 1/2" thick and bushed up to clear your existing main caps, without cutting a gap down the center creating fracture/cracking points (like other manufacturers). You will notice other manufactures selling you on the idea that you don't want them bushed up? You should ask why. The answer is COST! It cost me an additional $23.00 ea. to CNC bushings that are then pressed into place, and machined down where bolt sits to the proper level of the girdle. If you are replacing your girdle due to cracking down the center, rest assure we have not cut any corners. Understandably most main cap griddles don't need to worry about cracking because they are not in severe horsepower application (it's a preventative measure), but my customers are, and they need something more than looks and price. If you need strength, reliability and value, your in the rite place.
This main cap girdle allows you to accomplish the same results of a speed shop saving hundreds of dollars in the convenience of your own home/garage.

This kit comes with grade 8, 12pt. bolts and washers. Comes straight and flat! (other girdles need to be bolted into place to obtain their straightness)

I have been making this girdle for seven years without one return, crack or break in the most severe of racing applications. Why should I buy this girdle at twice the price of the Chinese? My girdles are not flame cut, rough machined and belt sanded, they are designed to fit into place without any modifications and exact precision; because we all know it's not the price of the product, but the amount of labor involved that adds up.
I don't normally sell product such as this to anyone but speed and machine shops, but like I said this is very straightforward and can be done in your garage. As you can see in the pictures this is a beautiful full machined girdle (the last picture shows a 302 application installed on an engine, to help you visualize what it looks like installed), with reliefs cut out for stroker clearance. German new car sales drop 11 per cent – pre-reg accounts for 33.5 per cent
Fri, 19 Oct 2012New car sales in Germany dropped by 11 per cent in September with pre-reg cars accounting for over a third of all sales. That drop of 11 per cent in Germany is despite deep discount offers – an average of 12.2 per cent in September – with even the previously invincible Mercedes and VW having to offer discounts of up to €3k, despite which VW’s sales fell by 20 per cent in Germany and Mercedes by 12 per cent. What’s perhaps most interesting about the decline in car sales in Germany is the number of pre-reg cars sold (pre reg cars are cars registered by dealers to hit sales targets and then sold at a discount of up to 25 per cent).
