This is a brand new 1 Gallon Bottle of Pro-Blend Hot Lap Premium Tire Softener (Pro-Blend Part #7000).  1 Gallon should treat tires for four racing weekends.  Good for use on dirt and asphalt tires.

  • Pro-Blend #7000 is the undisputed track champion in tire treatments for 11 years in a row
  • Reduces lap times 2-5 tenths
  • Tires run 20-27 degrees cooler and last up to 50% longer
  • They are much less likely to blister
  • Pro-Blend says this is Absolutely Undetectable
  • Pro-Blend Hot Lap does not "give up" after a few laps.  It comes in with the first heat cycle and stays consistent throughout a 200 lap show.  Toward the end of a 100 or 200 lap race, the tires keep "coming to you" and the car does not fall off
  • Touted by Pro-Blend as "the single most beneficial race product you can buy"
  • Will not affect bleeders
  • Regular retail price of Pro-Blend #7000 is $217.47

For maximum results, clean the glaze off new tires before softening with Pro-Blend Tire Cleaner, available in our Ebay store.  This should be worth another 1/2 of a tenth.

Suggested instructions:

Apply 10 to 14 coats before racing (start with 10 and work up)

For a Saturday race:

-Monday, wipe glaze off tires, then scuff with wire brush.  Next, using a 4" roller, apply 4 coats evenly while rotating tire.  Make sure to let the treatment dry 45 minutes or more between coats

-Tuesday, apply 4 more coats, letting it dry 45 minutes or more between coats

-Wednesday, apply 2 to 4 more coats, letting it dry 45 minutes or more between coats

-Saturday, you are ready to race and see the benefits of Pro-Blend Hot Lap

*For even more results, remove valve stem core (tubeless tires only) and put 10 ounces of Hot Lap inside all 4 tires.  Inflate to 10 lbs.  Do this on Monday before applying the first coat with roller.

Amelia Island concours celebrates birthday of fake sports car--46 years early

Wed, 19 Oct 2011

The fictional Italian grand marque 1958 Pignatelli sports car has joined the lineup for the 2012 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. The 17th-annual event will celebrate the cartoon vehicle's 100th anniversary, 46 years early, in March. "Because all but two people involved with the Amelia Island concours will be dead by 2058, we don't want to wait," concours chairman Bill Warner said.

2012 Lexus GS 250 Guangzhou debut

Mon, 21 Nov 2011

2012 Lexus GS 250 debuts in China this week We’ve had the reveal of the 2012 Lexus GS 450h, and we’ve even reported on the US GS 350 and that the UK and Europe are to get an entry-level GS – the Lexus GS 250. But so far we’ve not had a proper reveal of the GS 250, just a bit of information and the assumption it’s a less powerful and less well-equipped version of the GS 450h. Which it is, and this week we get to see exactly what the entry-level GS offers with its public debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China.

BMW Z4M? Sorry, it’s the Z4 M-Sport

Sat, 19 Sep 2009

BMW are testing a Z4 with an M-Sport package round the Nurburgring I suppose that at least this way you can have a Z4 that looks the part- with bigger wheels and bumpers and maybe even a suspension tweak or three – without having to bother with the big price ticket or the not inconsiderable running costs. To be fair, the Z4 sDrive35i is not particularly slow. It will manage to get to 60 mph in around 5.0 seconds; handles well and looks so much better than the Z3 did.
