Since 1972 we have operated a Cast Iron Foundry where we cast cannons and custom parts from an inventory of over 20,000 patterns. (come visit us at hernironworks.com) We also operate a full service metal recycling center providing raw materials for foundries and industry across the northwest.

We have available to our customers full load and less than load freight, as well as UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS. Most purchases will ship within 24 hours from the time we recieve payment. At this time we are only offering domestic sales, sorry no international bidders. We enjoy chatting with our customers so we also offer local pick-up and delivery (within 30 mile radius)

Toyota to end Australian manufacturing in 2017

When Holden announced that it would no longer build cars in Australia after 2017, that country’s flagging automotive industry was effectively put on notice -- Mitsubishi had stopped building cars there in 2008, and Ford says its two plants there will close in October 2016. Now Toyota has announced that it has no option but to end vehicle Australian vehicle production. Like Holden, it will close its factories there in 2017.

RM classic-car auction in Detroit rakes in more than $2.5 million

Two of General Motors' finest convertibles from half a century ago were the top sellers at the RM auction last weekend in suburban Detroit. A 1958 Pontiac Parisienne droptop sold for $104,500, and a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz went for $82,500 at the annual classic-car event, April 24-25 in Novi, Mich. Prices include a buyers premium.

Honda Passport recalled for suspension fix

Honda will recall 35,984 copies of the Passport SUV from the 1998 to 2002 model years in the United States for a suspension piece damaged by road-salt corrosion. The lower suspension link could become corroded in areas where road salt is used extensively. Honda says the lower link bracket could detach from the frame, which would affect handling and increase the risk of a crash.
