New 2014 Corvette Stingray gets 29 mpg highway
Tue, 09 Jul 2013Chevrolet has been dropping stats about its new Corvette every so often, and the latest to come down the pike are its fuel economy ratings. The Corvette Stingray's EPA estimated rating of 17 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway makes it 11 percent more fuel efficient than the previous Corvette. These ratings are for the Corvette equipped with the all new seven-speed manual transmission.

The 'SC' moniker stands for 'Sports Coupe', but don't think of the Leon SC as a VW Scirocco rival. Despite a shortened wheelbase and raked rear screen, the Leon SC boasts the same rear headroom and bootspace as its five-door sister, claims Seat. But the Porsche 918 Spyder is also very different to the Carrera GT, because it’s a hybrid and promises Toyota Prius-like levels of parsimony.
