I am offering for auction, a Motor Age Professional Technician’s Edition CHILTON’S 1994 #8470 Automotive Service Manual.

This manual is loaded with step by step repair information and illustrations for all American made model cars of the era, and covers years 1990-1994.  These older manuals contain a lot more specific step by step repair information and illustrations compared to the newer specific repair manuals of later years.  This manual also includes a separate section for Brake component rebuilding procedures.

This manual covers the following car models: Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth/Eagle (Front Wheel Drive, all models,), Ford/Lincoln/Mercury (Front and rear wheel drive all models), General Motors (Front and rear wheel drive all models), and Saturn front wheel drive, all models.

This manual is in very nice shape for being 18 years old, shows only normal wear and usage.  This is a huge manual with at least 2000 pages of information.  All pages are clear to read and in overall nice shape.

These Professional Technician’s Edition Manuals were very expensive when new, costing upwards of $200.00 in 1994.  These ARE NOT the manuals that were sold to the general public; these were sold to professional mechanics.

Saab is continuing its search for a partner to help it build a new entry-level car and the company also wants to build vehicles for other automakers at its factory in Sweden, Chairman Victor Muller said. "We are talking with other manufacturers to buy a platform or drivetrain technology for this entry-level car," Muller told Automotive News Europe. "It should come as soon as possible, in 2014 the earliest." Muller said the car would be priced at about 20,000 euros, or about $28,300 at current exchange rates.
