After years of participating in the Win-A-Shelby Raffle, one lucky enthusiast finally drew the golden ticket at the Barrett-Jackson Orange County Auction in Costa Mesa, Calif. William Munn of Maritez, Calif., was crowned owner of the 2011 GT350 on Sunday. By buying five tickets at $100 or a single ticket for $25, participants placed their names in the drawing to win the coveted Shelby.

Holden has unveiled its new Calais V luxury sports concept, previewing the future design director of the carmaker's VF Commodore, which will be sold in the US as the Chevrolet SS. The halo car of GM's Australian arm is a clear evolution of the outgoing model, with an emphasis on greater percieved quality in order to appeal on a global scale. Cabbies test new British-built hybrid Black Cab

LONDON cabbies have seized the chance to test the first in a new wave of low-emissions taxis. At Metrocab's testing facility in Surrey, representatives from the Capital's taxi world met London Mayor Boris Johnson, who after driving the car threatened to turn into Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson. The Mayor joined Licensed Taxi Drivers Association (LTDA) General Secretary Steve McNamara, and London Cab Drivers Club (LCDC) Chairman Grant Davis to put the Metrocab’s zero emissions capability to the test.
