I have 2 drum cage locking screws. One is used to fasten the tangs to the drum. The shorter one is used to fasten and secure the tang on the upper assembly(halyard).
We just finished a trans Pacific trip to Australia. On the Tuamotos to Tahiti passage both of the longer screws backed out and left us with a loose system. I ordered some replacements
when we got to Tahiti and a few spares. The price was right at $28.00 each. They might be made of titanium. I believe there are 2 fasteners for each tang and 1 fastener for the upper halyard drum fitting. Our profurl system was a NC42. These fasteners will also fit a lot of other Profurl rigs. The NCI 42, LCI 42, and LC 42. Probably more. The profurl part number is P035013. It is good to have spares for these parts! Even lock tite doesn't always secure them.
Sorry, I will not be able to get these out before July13th. Thanks.
