He gave me a few props to sell and this is one of them. There may be a couple of small dings along the outer edge of a blade or two from hitting something light, a floating twig, etc., but this is normal - all props get dings. I asked him if this would matter - I don't want to be selling junk on here.He said if you are someone who is trying to go 100 mph in your boat then you likely would already know all about propellers - you know they can be taken to a prop shop and be refurbished, etc. If you are like 99.9% of boaters, you're looking to do some fishing, maybe some water skiing, or even cruising along at full throttle but still under 50 mph, most of you will never notice the difference between this prop and a brand new one. So rather than spend $500 or more for a new prop, this is a good deal for you. The hub is good. The prop is balanced and true.” Read Less Brand:Mercury Warranty:No Warranty Manufacturer Part Number:48 72762A-4 19P Propeller Pitch:19" Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Propeller Rotation:Standard UPC:Does not apply

Bentley Mulsanne Turbo: 30 years ago this week, Bentley was re-born

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

1982 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo (photo courtesy WO Bentley Memorial Foundation) The Bentley Mulsanne Turbo was launched thirty years ago this week at the 1982 Geneva Motor Show, and Bentley was re-born. It’s hard to believe now, but until Rolls Royce launched the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo in 1982 Bentleys were nothing more than re-badged Rolls Royces and accounted for an insignificant 5 per cent of Rolls Royce sales. But the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo changed all that and put Bentley on the road to success with the first ’Blower’ Bentley in half a century.

GM to modify Chevrolet Volts to guard against battery fire

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

General Motors will add a structural reinforcement and devices to prevent overfilling of the battery cooling system in the Chevrolet Volt hybrid sedan to prevent the possibility of a fire after a side crash. The changes come seven months after a Volt caught fire three weeks after being crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The government agency in November opened a defect investigation into the Volt because of the battery fire.
