‘Lamborghini’ Ferruccio (2008) first official pictures

Designed by Italian coachbuilder Magvisio, the Ferruccio was a rebodied Murcielago LP640 and would have been faster than any current car wearing the Lamborghini badge, with a claimed top speed of 230mph. Although not an official Lamborghini project, Sant'Agata was monitoring the scheme ‘with interest’, according to its creators.Magvisio specialises in customisation jobs for private clients, and the Ferruccio was to be its first stab at designing a car from the ground up.

Fri, 29 May 2009BMW has revealed the M3 Edition Models - available for just 6 months BMW has released details of a quartet of BMW M3 Edition cars, which is a cosmetic job on the already pretty impressive M3 Coupe. For BMW to do this you’ve probably got to assume that sales on the BMW M Cars are a bit slow at the moment, despite the constant upward growth in the last few years. But never mind, it’s not a bad way to go, and the cars do look pretty good.

Thu, 06 Jun 2013Ford’s 1.0 Litre EcoBoost wins Engine of the Year 2013 If anything is going to overturn the received wisdom that all small cars should come with a diesel engine, it’s Ford’s 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine. Torquey, lively and frugal, the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine is a little marvel, a fact recognised for the second year running by the judging panel for the Engine of the Year Awards, which has given the 1.0 litre EcoBoost the highest ever marks in the award’s fifteen year history. A total of 87 car journalists from 35 countries were hugely impressed with the power, torque and small size of the Ford engine, with one journalist, Peter Lyon, commenting: “Who’d have believed it?
