Manufacture's Description:
PRW aluminum rockers are used around the world by professional racers, engine builders and hot rod enthusiasts, offering outstanding power and performance advantages for street, strip, and track applications. Made from high strength 6061-T6 aluminum extrusions, each piece is precision CNC machined and finished by hand to ensure that the customers receive the very best PRW has to offer. PRW stud mount aluminum rockers are specially machined to allow for larger springs and retainers with full-cage friction reducing needle bearings for added durability. The nose rollers and shafts are Cr40 steel, heat-treated and hardened to minimize the wear that naturally occurs between the roller tip and the valve stem. PRW offers these high-quality aluminum rocker arms for most domestic engines, with one of the largest selections of rocker arms of various ratios available to the racing and performance industry. As with other PRW products, these are in-stock for immediate delivery. All PRW aluminum rockers come complete with specially designed RockerLocs, at no additional cost.

New Jeep Cherokee: New York Auto Show 2013

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

The new Jeep Cherokee has its official public debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show today with 9-speed gearbox and based on a  Fiat platform. Now, with the New York Auto Show about to kick off (which you might reasonably have thought was yesterday after the flurry of activity from Jaguar and Land Rover) we get a full set of photos of the Cherokee and specifications. The new Cherokee sits on the Chrysler/Fiat Compact US Wide platform which gets independent front and rear suspension which, say Jeep, offers great on-road dynamics without sacrificing off-road ability and comes with a 9-speed auto box and a choice – at least in the US – of 184bhp 2.4 litre 4-cylinder or 271bhp 3.2 litre Pentastar V6.

Women's World Car of the Year (WWCOTY) 2011 - DS3 & 5 Series tie We’ll decline to question too much what the response would be if a panel of male motoring writers voted for a ‘Man’s World Car of the Year Award’. Although we’d speculate that most women would consider that every other car awards is exactly that. But just as we did in 2009, we find the 2011 Women’s World Car of the Year Award winners to be in accord with what any panel of knowledgeable car bods would vote for, with the wonderful Citroen DS3 and the exceptional BMW 5-Series tying as winners.
