An example is shift knobs which were molded slightly oblong, or don’t seat squarely at a 90 degree angle to the shift rod. We made every effort to document every last imperfection, but we may have missed something. All items sold as is, and may not have minor parts such as shift adapter nuts, but if that was missing, please let us know, rather than returning it (or leaving negative feedback), we could always send one out. That said, I personally sealed the last hundred, and I recall about 3 missing it. We have since found more, so just let us know! Also, we review every item we leave feedback for, please remember to leave us positive feedback as well, and in the event of an issue, give us a chance to remedy it. Why? Well, the sandwich construction of the A/B Class lends itself perfectly to battery storage for the BlueZERO E-Cell Plus, but this whole platform is due to be dumped when the next generation A/B Class arrives, as it’s considered too expensive to continue.
Ford future products: New vehicles get lighter, faster and move upscale
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Ford Motor Co.'s future-product focus is on improved fuel economy by making its vehicles smaller and engines lighter without sacrificing performance, safety or luxury. It also wants to push the Ford brand more upscale to capture customers orphaned by the shutdown of the Mercury brand, and to attract new buyers with more product offerings. Ford has said 90 percent of its North American nameplates will be available with direct-injection turbocharged EcoBoost engines as standard equipment or as an option by 2013.
U.K. firm plans modern Jensen Interceptor
Tue, 20 Sep 2011CPP, a British specialist automotive group co-owned by Russian businessman Vladimir Antonov, said it will build a modern version of the iconic Jensen Interceptor grand tourer, starting in 2014. Healey Sports Cars Switzerland, which owns the Jensen brand, has appointed CPP to engineer, develop and build the car, CPP said on Tuesday. CPP will build the Interceptor in a new factory on the site of the former Jaguar Browns Lane plant in Coventry, England.
