Londoners 'most likely to fail' driving test

LEARNERS gearing up to take their first driving test are twice as likely to pass in Scotland as those in London, according to analysis of driving test results by a car insurance company. Its analysis reveals that London has the test centres with the four lowest pass rates in the country for first time test-takers. Only 31% of learner drivers in Belvedere passing the first time, while Wanstead (32%), Barking (32%) and Wood Green (33%) were the other lowest scoring centres in the capital, all with first time pass rates significantly below the national average (48%), the study by Privilege Car Insurance found.

The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will launch at the Detroit Motor Show 2010 There’s been a fair bit of news on Cadillac’s performance halo car the CTS-V of late. We had Bob Lutz taking on all comers at the Monticello Race Track in New York for the CTS-V Challenge (which turned in to a one-make competition) and the ubiquitous Mt Lutz confirming that Cadillac will be making a CTS-V Wagon (Estate, to us). TOYOTA has updated its Land Cruiser 4x4 for 2014 with improvements to the standard specification and revised pricing. It now costs from £34,995 to buy a Land Cruiser and all 2014 models have a revised exterior look that includes reshaped bumpers and grille. There is also a new control panel inside for the on- and off-road driving systems.
