Rolls Royce Phantom Bespoke Chicane Coupe homage to Goodwood
Wed, 30 Oct 2013The Rolls Royce Phantom Bespoke Chicane Coupe – with a touch of Goodwood When you get to the rarefied level of the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe – starting point £253,000 – it seems almost odd to have a ‘Special Edition’ car with extra goodies bolted on. But that, in essence, is what the Rolls Royce Phantom Bespoke Chicane Coupe is, although it’s more a push for the abilities of Rolls Royce bespoke design division than anything else. Commissioned by Rolls Royce in Dubai, the Bespoke Chicane Coupe comes in an appealing shade of Gunmetal Grey with matt black highlights, wheels painted to match (usually an after-market happening) with lashings of red leather, carbon fibre and piano black trim on the inside with a starlight roof lining.
Shelby-Prudhomme Super Snake Ford Mustang takes another chomp
Fri, 06 Feb 2009This isn't a wheels-and-wings, limited-edition Mustang kit. Horsepower entrepreneur Carroll Shelby and drag-racing legend Don Prudhomme teamed up to produce the Prudhomme Edition Shelby Super Snake, an 800-hp monster Mustang based on 2007 and later Shelby GT500s. The Snake features a Kenny Bell/Shelby supercharger under a custom forward-tilting fiberglass hood.
Finalists announced in exterior phase of CDN-GM Interactive Design competition
Thu, 24 Nov 2011The exterior phase of the CDN-GM Interactive Design competition closed on the November 7th, with over 150 entries from design students based in the USA and Canada, making it our most popular interactive competition phase so far. After the press days of the recent LA Auto Show, judges and mentors from GM, along with our competition partners Dassault Systèmes, Faurecia and SRG Global, gathered at GM's North Hollywood advanced design studio to pick the finalists. Those chosen will be invited to attend the 2012 NAIAS in Detroit, along with finalists from the interiors phase, and on the second press day, interiors and exterior winners will be announced for each brand.
