Condition:New other (see details)

This is a complete kit for a 2 1/2"   tube and 1 1/2 " shaft.  A components are new except for the Stainless  Ring which fits on the shaft.  The wear surfaces of that part are in good condition and have been refaced ( see photos of both sides). The  none wear surface has some bruises due to an aggressive  mechanic.

The reason this is for sale is that  I bought the maintenance kit and my mechanic bought the entire seal kit. When we pulled the shaft to do the Cutlass bearing, we decided to replace the entire unit.  The  maintenance kit was purchased in Sept 2015-- so you know that the rubber bellows and o rings  are not dried out.

In summary what you are buying is a new maintenance kit with a used stainless steel rotor. PYI cost for the maintenance kit  is $140.

PYI suggests a 6 year change schedule for the bellows.  I don't want to keep this as a spare for 6 years.

Art installation moves 100,000 toy cars an hour

IT'S NO PICASSO, but this installation by conceptual artist Chris Burden certainly has the potential to be moving. Called Metropolis II, this amazing construction took Chris and his chief engineer four years to design and create and expands significantly on Metropolis I - the latest version has 18 roadways including one six-lane carriageway. It also has a rail network with HO-scale model trains, and running at capacity it pumps 100,000 cars around its network at a scale speed of 230mph.

Aston Martin's Race plan

Wed, 17 Oct 2007

By Ben Pulman Motor Shows 17 October 2007 15:36 It’s only just over a week since Aston Martin was sold, but today it confirmed plans to race at Le Mans. The DBR9 will return to the famous La Sarthe circuit in June. Perhaps this was inevitable, since Aston’s new non-executive chairman is David Richards - the chairman of Prodrive, which develops the DBR9 and its FIA GT3-spec sister car, the DBRS9. The team will face a tough challenge, though, as the 24-hour Le Mans is the only race that Aston Martin Racing will compete in this year.
