Infiniti: Entry-level Infiniti teased ahead of Geneva

Infiniti Entry-Level Concept Geneva 2011 Infiniti has dragged Rolf out of the cupboard again, shoved a paintbrush in his hand and told him to illustrate their new, entry-level concept heading to Geneva. Which is Rolf’s first Infiniti gig since the Infiniti Performance Line G Coupe got teased last year ahead of Pebble. What we have this time is what Infiniti describes as a “…concept for a luxury performance car that will fit below the current G Line.” Which means it’s small.

It's a strange world we live in when, even in my short-to-medium lifespan, we've gone from the 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi making either 205 or 214 hp—depending on who you're asking—to the Ferrari F70, which is rumored to make 950 hp with its V12 and KERS system. Which makes sense, with the 407 getting a bit long on the tooth and the 607 selling nowhere but Paris. We got the first official view of the 508 in the 5 by Peugeot concept at the Geneva Motor Show at the start of the year, and a good looking and elegant Peugeot it looked.
