This listing is for the New SA2010 Pyrotect Airflow Duckbill Racing Helmet, Size XXL, Color White. This full face helmet features, certifications and rating of, SFI 24.1, Snell SA2010 and D.O.T. It can be used from everything from Motorcycles, Off Road, Drag Racing, Road Course, Circle Track to NASCAR. This helmet features a Patented Pro Airflow Interior openings in the front and sides of the chin bar and scalp to allow air in and escape through the top exhaust ports for driver comfort and reducing fog. This lightweight and aerodynamic helmet has a spoiler under the chin bar designed to keep the helmet in line while racing in the open air. Great for open cockpit vehicles and motorcycles. The spoiler also helps push just the right amount air up into the opening in the chin bar to keep you cool and reduce fogging. The interior of the helmet features a plush fire retardant Nomex padding and a removable washable liner as well as a padded Kevlar chin strap designed for racer comfort and proper fit. The distortion free face shield is constructed with a high grade, low fog .125" Polycarbonate with an excellent extend peripheral field of vision with tear off post. All the hardware of this progressive helmet is Stainless Steel. Under this hand laminated lightweight shell you can also wear additional eye protection or eye wear such as sun or vision glasses. This helmet is compatible for most aftermarket neck safety restraint devices as well. This helmet is made by the same manufactures that make Bell Helmets at a fraction of the price but the same durability and support and it even accepts Bell Style Tear Offs. 56% of drivers 'underestimated car expense'
Thu, 10 Jul 2014MORE THAN half of people who have bought a second-hand car in the last two years have found it more expensive to run than they expected, according to a Government-backed body. Some 56% of motorists said that total cost, including maintenance, repairs, insurance and fuel had turned out to be higher than anticipated and one in five drivers (20%) have resorted to going into debt just to keep their vehicle on the road, the Money Advice Service (MAS) found. One in four (26%) of the 3,000 people surveyed who have bought a second-hand car since 2012 now has regrets about their purchase, with many of them saying they had not worked out whether it was really affordable or that the purchase price was too much in the first place.
Land Rover previews Discovery Vision Concept ahead of NY show
Thu, 03 Apr 2014Land Rover has given a first taste of the Discovery Vision Concept, which will debut at the New York International Auto Show later this month. The concept introduces the design themes that will define both the next generation of Freelander/LR2 and Discovery/LR4 models. Land Rover had previously announced that it would align its models under three pillars - 'luxury' for Range Rovers, 'leisure' for Discovery models – of which the Freelander/LR2 becomes – and 'dual purpose' for the long-awaited replacement for the Defender.
