Google driverless cars ‘safer than humans’
Tue, 29 Oct 2013Google claims that its driverless cars are now safer than human motorists, after analysing testing data gathered over thousands of experimental miles of assessment. The Internet search giant has been developing its controversial autonomous cars for several years, adapting a fleet of 10 vehicles – including six Toyota Prius hybrids, three Lexus RX450h off-roaders and an Audi TT – to drive by themselves. Upcoming Mercedes-Benz MLC-class spied testing
Mon, 14 Jul 2014Just a few weeks after the debut of the Mercedes-Benz MLC in concept form, prototypes have been spotted testing in Colorado earlier this month. The MLC is meant to offer packaging similar to the BMW X6, combining the SUV shape of the ML with a more coupe-like exterior design. The MLC will make its public debut at the Moscow International Motor Show in August of this year, a location that is perhaps indicative of the target audience for this upcoming crossover.

Thu, 05 Mar 2009Lotus Evora 2+2 - UK Car Prices announced at Geneva '09 The first four (ish) seater Lotus in a generation, the Evora is powered by a 3.5 litre V6, which manages to produce 276bhp and 252ft/lbs of torque. The Toyota sourced engine manages a 0-60 of around 5 seconds, and on to a top speed of 160mph. And the Evora does a pretty decent job with emissions and economy, especially considering its performance.
