    Monaco Grand Prix (2011) RESULT

    Mon, 30 May 2011

Monaco Grand Prix 2011 - it even had overtaking Far from being a long line of very expensive F1 cars following each other round the streets of the Grimaldi Empire, the 2011 Monaco Grand Prix was full of incident, accident and overtaking. Oh, and a dose of petulance too. Let’s cut to the chase: Vettel won yet again – from pole – and extended his lead to the point where many will say he’s un-catchable.

Jaguar XKR (2010 / 2011) Ultimate Special Edition – the Video

    Wed, 17 Feb 2010

The 2010 Jaguar XKR - with all the options - the Video Earlier today we reported on the (very) minor changes to the Jaguar XK range as a whole for 2010/2011 and also on the very appetising changes Jaguar has introduced for the XKR for the new model year. The changes include the addition of a couple of option packs which make the Jaguar XKR a more hardcore car than it has been to date. These changes have probably come about after Jaguar played with the XKR to produce a Lime Green hot version for last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the option of graphics on the side certainly owe their existence to the Goodwood Special.

Tokyo motor shows: past, present and future

    Thu, 20 Aug 2009

By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 20 August 2009 09:30 As bets in this topsy-turvy, unpredictable industry go, it’s a banker: of all the motor shows on the global calendar, the Tokyo exhibit is always the barmiest. Although the Chinese shows are rising in importance – and amusement value –  there’s something peculiarly bonkers about the biannual Japanese bash held in downtown Tokyo. So strange is the exhibition at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City to westerners, that you don’t bat an eyelid at talking cars, vehicles with feelings, or cars designed for dogs.
