2014 Range Rover Sport: First Official photos
Tue, 26 Mar 2013We have the first official photos of the 2014 Range Rover Sport ahead of its launch later today in a ‘drive-through’ reveal in New York. The 2014 Range Rover Sport is Land Rover’s love child of the new Range Rover and the Range Rover Evoque, and is due to debut later today in a drive through New York ahead of a showing at the 2013 New York Auto Show. But, despite Land Rover’s best efforts, the reveal of the new Range Rover Sport has not exactly gone to plan.
2014 Nissan Qashqai teased again – and almost revealed
Mon, 04 Nov 20132014 Nissan Qashqai teased again – and almost revealed Nissan has been bust teasing the 2014 Qashqai ahead of its reveal later this week, and today we get the latest tease which actuallt reveals the front end. The last tease only managed to show us the new Qashqai under a dust sheet in a tunnel, but this time we get a head-on view of the Qashqai to give us a few clues about its new look. The bonnet has more flowing lines than before which continue down in to the chrome element of the grill which, although similar in shape, is more integrated than before with slimmer headlights with integrated, v-shaped running lights.
Hyundai make it in to UK Top Ten best-selling car makers
Tue, 08 Jan 2013Hyundai has become the first Korean car maker to make it in to the top ten best selling car makers in the UK, with sales of 74,000 in 2012. It’s taken a few years to shake off the ‘Cheap Car’ tag, but Hyundai are now offering a range of cars – certainly in the mainstream – that can be compared on ability, design and quality with the best of the competition. That quantum change in perception in the last few years about the desirability of a Hyundai has now translated in to Hyundai becoming one of the top ten best-selling car brands in the UK, a first for a Korean car maker and a real sign that Hyundai is now accepted as a real competitor – not a ‘Budget’ brand.
