Russo and Steele auction reopens on Sunday
Sun, 24 Jan 2010The Russo and Steele collector-car auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., will reopen on Sunday morning, and the firm will hold auction sessions on Sunday and Monday. The auction was closed Friday and Saturday after high winds on Thursday night ripped two tents from their anchors. Some cars on the site were damaged by debris or rain.

Chevy Volt will do 230mpg
Tue, 11 Aug 2009GM are claiming 230 mpg for the Chevy Volt The premise is that the vast majority of buyers for the Chevy Volt will do no more than 40 miles a day. Which just happens to be the range that the Volt has. So I suppose they could have worked out the cost of the electricity to fully charge the Volt, converted that in to the cost of petrol and come to the conclusion that it does 230mpg.
